The four corrections officers involved in Wednesday’s death of former Clark County Detention Center inmate Luis Solano, 38, were identified Saturday.
They include:
■ Corrections Sgt. David Aspiazu, 38, who has been with the Metropolitan Police Department since 2001.
■ Corrections officer Bradley Temple, 44, with the department since August 2000.
■ Corrections officer Patrick Gray, 48, with the department since September 2003.
■ Corrections officer Eugene Dixon, 49, with the department since August 2000.
All of the officers are assigned to the department’s Detention Services Division. Aspiazu, Temple and Gray are assigned to the North Tower Administrative Bureau. Dixon is assigned to the South Tower Administrative Bureau.
The death occurred after a three-minute Feb. 25 struggle between Solano and the corrections officers at the detention center, police said.
Solano’s daughter said the family has retained a lawyer.
The four officers were placed on routine paid administrative leave pending an internal investigation.
