Las Vegas police search for four suspects in fatal shooting

A 20-year-old man died after being shot in the 1500 block of East Harmon Avenue just before noon Friday, according to Las Vegas police.

Witnesses told police they saw an older white sport utility vehicle with four males fleeing the scene, north of Tropicana Avenue and east of Maryland Parkway.

The victim was rushed to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, where he later died from his injuries.

The vehicle was described as a 2002-04 Dodge Durango bearing Nevada license plates, with dark tinted windows.

Police described two of the suspects: a 25- to 30-year-old black man wearing dark clothing, and a 20- to 30-year-old man, either light-skinned black or Polynesian, with dark, braided, shoulder-length hair. He was wearing dark jeans, a white hooded top, and carried a handgun in his waistband.

Police said they did not know the motive for the shooting.

The victim’s identity as well as the exact cause of death will be released by the Clark County coroner’s office.

Anyone with information about the shooting, including descriptions of the other two males in the SUV, is asked to call the Homicide Section at 702-828-3521 or, to remain anonymous, Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555. Tips to Crime Stoppers leading to an arrest or indictment could result in a cash reward.
