A man was shot and killed near the intersection of Tropical Parkway and North 5th Street Friday evening, North Las Vegas police said.
Officers were called shortly before 6 p.m. to a house in the 500 block of Riding Crop, said police spokesman officer Aaron Patty.
The man died at the scene, Patty said. An initial investigation determined that it did not appear to be a “random act of violence.”
Additional details on the shooting or related arrests were not immediately available.
