An infant died in a southwest valley home Thursday afternoon, police said.
About 3:00 p.m., Las Vegas police responded to a call from the 3700 block of Arville Street, near West Twain Avenue. The father found the baby dead on a bed, Lt. Patrick Charoen said.
Information about the baby’s age, gender and cause of death were not released Thursday night.
Detectives from Metro’s abuse and neglect unit are investigating the infant’s death.
