RENO - Sparks police who arrested a 27-year-old homeless man on suspicion of possession of child pornography say they also may have stumbled onto a case of credit card fraud.
Investigators said Chadwick Majamay also had personal financial information for more than 800 credit card accounts when they arrested him Friday in East Reno along Galletti Way.
They said he also had answers to security questions to some of the accounts. At least two people on the list have been victims of credit card fraud.
Police said Majamay is a registered Tier II sexual offender who was convicted of child pornography possession in 2008. He was being held in the Washoe County Jail.
