Six face federal charges related to Sahara Avenue marijuana dispensary

A federal grand jury has indicted six people on charges related to operating a marijuana dispensary and distributing marijuana.

The defendants are Randy Ruley Phillips, 42, of Las Vegas; Jaclyn Mikie Sumarnkant, 27, of Alhambra, Calif.; Quy Nguyen, 28, of San Diego, Calif.; Randy Allen Kim, 24, of Las Vegas; Andrew Yim, 24, of Las Vegas; and Michael Minh Quang Dinh, 37, of Garden Grove, Calif.

They face a number of conspiracy and marijuana distribution charges.

Federal prosecutors say the defendants ran Alternative Solutions Marijuana Dispensary on Sahara Avenue, near Rainbow Boulevard, between July 2011 and September 2012.

If convicted, they each face up to 20 years in prison and $1,000,000 in fines.
