Woman critically injured in Saturday traffic accident
A passenger was injured after a traffic accident Saturday afternoon near Broadbent Boulevard and Broadlake Lane.
Las Vegas police said the driver, Lisa Krase, was traveling north on Broadbent Boulevard about 4 p.m. when she lost control of her 2008 Ford Crown Victoria and struck a light pole and tree south of Broadlake Lane.
The passenger, Judith Desulovich, 70, was airlifted to University Medical Center with critical injuries.
Krase, 50, sustained moderate injuries and was treated at Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center before being booked at the Clark County Detention Center, charged with driving under the influence and reckless driving, according to police.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
