Best of Las Vegas tip: It’s a beautiful day to head to Red Rock Canyon
April 17, 2011 - 1:02 am
It's a great day for a picnic, and why not take our readers' advice on where to go? Red Rock Canyon was tjheir choice in this year's Best of Las Vegas.
While you're there, you can soak up some sun and see if you can spot some wildlife. That's another reason it's a popular spot with our readers. For that matter, you just might see our readers -- with their out-of-town visitors in tow.
Red Rock is a natural gem we get to enjoy year-round. Whether it's Calico Basin, Sandstone Quarry, or the ever-popular Willow Springs, home of the Children's Discovery Trail, there's plenty to see and do on a beautiful day. Be ready for the $7 daily fee, or just spring for the $30 annual pass.
