SIGNINGS

Olympic gold medalist Brian Boitano will sign his cookbook “What Would Brian Boitano Make?: Fresh and Fun Recipes for Sharing With Family and Friends” at 3 p.m. Thursday at Barnes & Noble, 2191 N. Rainbow Blvd.

EVENTS

The Literary Guild of Sun City MacDonald Ranch will host former Nevada Gov. Bob Miller at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Desert Willow Community Center, 2020 W. Horizon Ridge Parkway in Henderson. Miller will discuss his life and his new book “Son of a Gambling Man.” The event is free.

Sahara West Library, 9600 W. Sahara Ave., will host a Small Business Expo, featuring panel discussions, vendors and exhibitors, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. The event is free.

The Amazing Reads Book Club meets at 5:30 p.m. the fourth Wednesday of each month at West Charleston Library, 6301 W. Charleston Blvd.

Book Lovers’ Bistro meets at 5:30 p.m. the second Tuesday of each month at Whitney Library, 5175 E. Tropicana Ave.

The Brown Bag Book Club meets at 11 a.m. the second Thursday of the month at the Laughlin Library, 2840 S. Needles Highway.
