• Image on Air: Join image every Friday morning when editor Susan Stapleton discusses the latest fashion and beauty trends with Melanie and Michael in the Morning on Sunny 106.5 FM beginning at 8:30 a.m.
• Model Search Finale: After months of competition, the third annual image Model Search is about to reveal the winners. Three men and three women will walk one last time on the runway at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Great Hall at Fashion Show mall. The winners of the image Model Search receive a photo spread in image, a contract with Best Agency, a professional modeling assignment representing Planet Hollywood Resort, a ZED card with pictures taken by Jerry Metellus, $1,500 cash and gift certificates from the Review-Journal, Amp Salon, Dillard's and Michael E. Minden Jewelry.
• Win Wynn: The boutiques at Wynn Las Vegas -- including Shoe In, Outfit, Bags, Belts & Baubles, Black Satin and Mojitos -- have marked prices down 50 percent during their semi-annual sale.
• Trunk It Up: If trunk shows are your bailiwick, Neiman Marcus at Fashion Show mall will be the place to be. Today, the department store is holding a trunk show for Judith Ripka, Eskandar resortwear, Barker Black Shoes, Prada and St. John. David Heston will make a personal appearance in men's furnishings that day as well. On Saturday, Charriol will show its latest styles. Doris Panos makes a personal appearance on Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. On Thursday, Sam Lehr is holiding a trunk show in the Precious Jewels Salon. Jewelry designer Mary Margrill will make a personal appearance from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 15.
• Shape Up: Dr. Robert Rey, the star of E! Entertainment's "Dr. 90210" and Beverly Hills plastic surgeon, along with Australian designer Bruno Schiavi are celebrating the nationwide launch of their new intimates collection, Dr. Rey's Shapewear. Both will be at Sears at Meadows Mall Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m. to share tips about enhancing your shape without plastic surgery and to offer advice about how women can look and feel their best. Dr. Rey will also be signing autographs following his style forum.
• Holiday Cheer: Saks Fifth Avenue at Fashion Show mall is holding afternoon events called "Saturdays at Saks" to help shoppers on their quest for the perfect gifts for the holidays. Each Saturday from 1 to 4 p.m., Saks will spread good cheer with the sights, sounds and tastes of the holidays. Customers are invited to Saks' one-of-a-kind Living Room on One to sip complimentary hot cocoa with marshmallows or coffee provided by Wild Truffles caterers. Shoppers can preview the new David Yurman Petite Cable Candy Collection through Saturday. Also on Saturday, a holiday icon comes to life as "Nutcracker" characters from Las Vegas Ballet Theatre make a special appearance. Saks Fifth Avenue has invited children from the Make-A-Wish Foundation to a special 1 p.m. reading of the holiday children's book, "Snowpeople." Sales from the book, exclusive to Saks Fifth Avenue, will raise money for St. Jude's Children's Hospital. At 3 p.m., shoppers can jingle their bells at the Juicy Couture's Jingle Bell Rock fashion presentation. DJ Axis will provide rocking holiday tunes to accompany informal modeling.
• Perfect Timing: Meet Glam Rock watch representative Kyle Rising-Moore Saturday from 3 to 7 p.m. in the fashion jewelry department at Nordstrom at Fashion Show mall for a watch trunk show. Designs are inspired by the sparkling and lively Miami lifestyles. The Glam Rock watch collection introduces oversized round unisex cases made of precious materials shaped in smooth contours.
• Art in Motion: Now through Jan. 15, fashion photographer Jerry Metellus' art exhibit, "Moshion," will be on display in the Grotto room at the Sahara West Library, 9600 W. Sahara Ave. The photo exhibition features dancers from the Nevada Ballet Theatre captured mid-air in the latest fashion trends.
• More Tease, Please: Shopping just keeps getting better in Las Vegas. The Shoppes at the Palazzo at the Venetian plan to open 20 stores that make their debut here next month. Included are Chloë, Tory Burch, Christian Louboutin, Diane Von Furstenberg, Van Cleef & Arpels, Anya Hindmarch, Poleci, Lambertson Truex, Phillipe Charriol, Edidi, Piaget and Michael Kors. These new additions to the Las Vegas Strip will be joined by the likes of Ralph Lauren, Jimmy Choo, Piaget, Burberry, Salvatore Ferragamo, Fendi, Bottega Veneta and Montblanc. And don't forget the 85,000-square-foot Barneys that will anchor the entire mall.
