• Forever and Ever: Forever 21 Inc. is set to open its largest and first ever XXI Forever by Forever 21 store at Meadows Mall Saturday. The 16,957-square-foot boutique incorporates Forever 21 apparel and accessories, Twelve by Twelve couture line and Heritage 1981, a lifestyle brand for men and women. There will be a DJ in-store from 3-5 p.m. Giveaways include free T-shirts and gift cards to the first 200 customers in line and bounce-back coupons. General Growth Properties, owner of Meadows Mall, will provide all guests the opportunity to enter to win a $500 Las Vegas Gift Card.
• Choo Lovers: To the delight of many a shoe lover, H&M has announced that its next designer collaboration will be with Jimmy Choo. The luxury shoe line will produce shoe lines for men and women as well as accessories. In a new venture, it will also produce a women's clothing line. Expect the collection to hit stores in November with prices ranging from $60 to $200.
• Eyes Have It: Vision Source Summerlin/Lakes announces its Summer Fashion Eyewear Show from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 8. With a Hawaiian luau theme, Vision Source staff and representatives from Nike and Coach will be on hand to assist with fit and answer questions. The event is free and open to the public. Specials also will be offered. Vision Source Summerlin/Lakes is located at 8937 Sahara Ave., Suite A.
• Sak it to Me: Experience Guerlain's Success Spa at Saks Fifth Avenue Friday through Sunday.
• Bridal Bonanza: The Opportunity Village Thrift Store, located at 921 S. Main St., is offering hundreds of new, name brand bridal gowns, bridesmaid gowns, shoes, tiaras and guest books that have been donated to the thrift store by a local bridal shop that recently closed its doors. All gowns are $199.99. Good while supplies last.
• Fashion Fitness: Lucy activewear at Town Square launches Fitness Friday. The first Friday of each month, a local LUCYPRO will visit the store to provide free fitness consultations and teach free classes.
• Barber Shop: Kim Vo Salon at The Mirage now offers the services of Truefitt & Hill. Master barbers and couple Noe and Nikki Hernandez provide the skill for which the historic brand is known. Barber services range from the Traditional Hot Lather Shave ($65) to a mustache trim ($25) to the Cranium Shave ($85).
• Stellar Salon: Globe Salon, a locally owned hair and skin care salon, has been named second runner-up in the nationwide Salon of the Year competition. The results appear in the June issue of "Salon Today." Globe Salon is located downtown in the Las Vegas Arts District.
