• Fashion Talk: The International Academy of Design & Technology invites members of the local fashion and retail communities, along with the general public, to attend its Design Series Friday, 7-8 p.m. This month's presentation will be lead by local fashion writers Colleen Smiley, deputy editor of Vegas magazine, Leslie Frisbee, editor of Las Vegas Magazine and Xazmin Garza, fashion reporter for the Las Vegas Review-Journal. The event is free and open to the public.
• Sak it to me: Saks presents an Opportunity Village/Las Vegas Philharmonic "Come Together" fundraiser Saturday at Opportunity Village's new campus. There will be a fashion show featuring Saks clothing. For tickets, RSVP to 880-4005.
• Trade Off: Kiehl's introduces its Recycle And Be Rewarded program in which patrons of free-standing stores may return their empty Kiehl's bottles, tubes and jars in exchange for product. Patrons will receive a Recycle And Be Rewarded card that will be stamped every time an empty item is returned. With the third stamp a tube of Lip Balm #1 is rewarded. With the fifth stamp an item from the Official Kiehl's Travel Collection can be selected and with the 10th stamp patrons choose any single product with a $25 value or less, excluding flagship exclusive or charitable products. • Kiddie Fashion: Pattycakes, a children's clothing, toy and tea boutique in Henderson, celebrates its one-year anniversary from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. June 6. Visitors will enjoy face painters, Disney princesses, a fashion show featuring designers such as Sara Sara, Hannah Banana, Out of Control, Kiddo, Knuckleheads and much more fun. • Cheap and Chic: Target's Designer Collaboration program, which features well-established designers who draw inspiration from a collaborative partner, will include Anna Sui in its Anna Sui for Target collection in September. The collection draws inspiration from the characters in "Gossip Girl."
• Open Up Shop: 7 for all Mankind has opened its second Las Vegas location at the Forum Shops at Caesars. The entire collection of women's, men's and kids' denim and sportswear is available at the 3,500-square-foot location. Call 369-0924 for more information.

• Starlet Style: Kohl's and "The Hills" star Lauren Conrad have announced a partnership with the launch of LC Lauren Conrad, a contemporary lifestyle brand that will launch in October. Initially the line will consist of apparel and might expand to include footwear, jewelry, handbags, intimates and sleepwear. Retail prices will range from $20 to $60.
