Get Organized

Most of us probably aren't as organized as we'd like to be. But at least our trips to the supermarket can be made more efficient with the SmartShopper Grocery List Organizer.

Just say the names of the items you need -- a built-in database includes about 2,500 common grocery items -- into the hand-held unit's microphone. The device then adds the item to your grocery list, which you can see on the LCD screen.

Then, when you're ready to head to the store, just press a button to print out your up-to-date list.

You can add custom items simply by speaking their names into the microphone. The organizer then groups your items by category and prints a list. You can even add errands to your list.

The unit can be mounted on a wall, placed on a countertop or -- thanks to built in magnets -- just stuck on your fridge for easy access. The SmartShopper Grocery List Organizer has a built-in printer, requires no ink cartridges and runs on four AA batteries. It retails for $149.95 (paper refills are $7.95) at Sur La Table at the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort, 3663 Las Vegas Blvd. South, or online (www.surlatable.com).
