Health District offers flu shots, vaccines at new location

The Southern Nevada Health District will start offering seasonal flu shots and other vaccines Monday at its new location near the Meadows mall.

The clinic will provide the flu shot for $28 and a high-dose shot for people 65 and older for $56. It will also give a pneumonia vaccine to seniors with no health insurance for $91.

Health officials encourage flu shot recipients, especially parents or caretakers of infants, to get a Tdap booster shot. The combination vaccine for tetanus, diphtheria and pertussis will be offered for $76.

The clinic, at 330 S. Valley View Blvd., will be open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
