Seventh person diagnosed with West Nile in Clark County

Health officials say they've confirmed a seventh human case of West Nile virus in Southern Nevada.

The Southern Nevada Health District said Tuesday that a 29-year-old man has been diagnosed with the less serious form of the illness, but hasn't been hospitalized.

West Nile has already been blamed in the death of 75-year-old woman in Clark County in recent weeks, and five other people have been diagnosed with the virus this year. Four deaths in Clark County have been linked to West Nile virus since 2003.
