Is it too soon for holiday music?
Halloween is over, the candy’s running low and it’s time to focus on Thanksgiving.
Or we can skip it entirely and go straight for Christmas. It depends on whom you ask.
A recent survey conducted for Cricket Wireless found that 55 percent of Americans just aren’t OK with jamming out to holiday tunes before Thanksgiving.
The older you are, the more likely that is to be true:
- 60 or older: 71 percent think “Jingle Bells” has no place anywhere near Halloween.
- 45- to 64-year-olds: 63 percent
- 30- to 44-year-olds: 55 percent
- 18- to 29-year-olds: 40 percent
They’re in the minority, but Millennials apparently don’t have a problem with Santa Claus coming to town in early November.
