Red Rock Canyon: On Monday, a moderate to strenuous 3-mile hike at Mary Jane Falls. On Wednesday, an easy 1-mile hike at Corn Creek. On Friday, a moderate to strenuous 2 1/2-mile hike with some bouldering and scrambling through Ice Box Canyon. On Saturday, a moderate 3-mile hike at First Creek. Also Saturday, an easy 1/2-mile walk at Corn Creek Spring. Also Saturday, an easy 1/2-mile evening walk at Red Spring to investigate bats. On Saturday, a all-day road trip to Gold Butte. High-clearance, 4-wheel drive vehicle required and space is limited (515-5367).

Red Rock Canyon: On Tuesday, a no pressure art class. No experience is necessary and all supplies are included. On Tuesday, a 20-minute discussion ongoing from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. about the predators of Southern Nevada. On Friday, a program about petroglyphs for 5-10 year olds. Also Friday, a canyon clean up day is scheduled (515-5367).

Archaeo-Nevada Society: At 7 p.m. on Thursday, Jeff Baker will speak on "Prescott Culture and the Yavapai: New Evidence from Two Sites in the Prescott Area" at College of Southern Nevada, 6375 W.
