MUSIC

First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), 101 S. Rancho Drive, will present the annual "Gospel-Praise-Spiritual Concert" at 7 p.m. April 22. The concert will feature the 40-voice Sanctuary Choir, the Young Bell Choir and the Chalice Ringers. Admission is free (384-1544).

Green Valley Presbyterian Church, 1798 Wigwam Parkway, Henderson, will present the piano recital "Behind the Music" with James D'Leon at 7:30 p.m. April 21. The Westminster College Chamber Choir will perform at 7:30 p.m. April 28. Admission is free for both concerts (454-8484).

EVENTS

The Youth Group of Green Valley Presbyterian Church, 1798 Wigwam Parkway, Henderson, will have a swap meet from 7 a.m. to noon today (454-8484).

The Jewish Community Center of Southern Nevada will celebrate Israel Independence Day from 1 to 5 p.m. April 29 at Sands Expo and Convention Center, 201 Sands Ave. The event will feature performances by magician Seth Grabel and Israeli rock group the Peatot Band, a scavenger hunt, balloon art and face painting, Jewish youth choir performances, dancing and other activities. MEETINGS

The Sathya Sai Baba Devotional Singing Group meets at 5 p.m. Sundays at 1128 Triumph Court (461-8655).

CLASSES

Lamb of God Lutheran Church, 6232 N. Jones Blvd., will offer Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University class for 13 weeks beginning at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday. The fee is $70 per couple. To register, call 645-4998.

Holy Spirit Lutheran Church, 6670 W. Cheyenne Ave., offers stories, songs, fingerplays and other activities for children at 10:30 a.m. Wednesdays (645-1777).

SINGLES GROUPS

The Jewish Community Center of Southern Nevada, Temple Sinai and Congregation Ner Tamid offer a variety of programs for Jewish singles of all ages in Las Vegas and Henderson. For details, call the Jewish Community Center at 794-0090, Temple Sinai at 254-5110 or Congregation Ner Tamid at 733-6292.

St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church sponsors a singles group for people 45 and older (228-8311, ext. 7333 or 7334).

Single Adults Learning Together, or SALT Ministries of CornerStone Christian Fellowship, meets at 6 p.m. Saturdays at 5825 W. Eldora Ave. (871-5050).
