Runners find frothy, foamy fun at annual Bubble Run 5K in Las Vegas — PHOTOS

Lots of frothy, foamy fun greeted participants in this year’s Bubble Run Las Vegas, a 5K event benefiting Operation Homefront Nevada. The event drew runners to Sam Boyd Stadium.

Operation Homefront is a national nonprofit organization that helps families of service members, veterans and wounded warriors by offering emergency and other financial assistance, caregiver support initiatives, back-to-school supplies, and programs that provide short-term transitional housing and mortgage-free homes.

“The Bubble Run is pure fun for a worthy cause,” Operation Homefront Nevada Executive Director Annie Baca said. “The event is not even timed — there is no clock. The only things that matter are who has the most foam on them at the finish line; the enjoyment of participating; and the good feeling that comes from donating to Operation Homefront’s programs to build strong, stable, and secure military families.”
