Shake Shack adds menu items for your dog

The next time you stop by Shake Shack at New York New York for a ShackBurger and a Shack Attack concrete, you can pick up a little something for your best friend.

Following in the pawprints of its sister restaurants in other markets, the Las Vegas Shake Shack has introduced the Pooch-ini — and no, it's not a martini for dogs, although your dog might see it that way. It's ShackBurger dog biscuits with peanut butter sauce and vanilla custard, it's $3.95, and it can be purchased from the outside window so you can share it on the spot with your canine compatriot.

The Pooch-ini isn't intended for small dogs, although whether that's because it might tax their diminutive digestive systems or they'd just become overly excited, we're not sure.

In case your pup isn't with you, Shake Shack also offers a to-go item that won't melt all over the place: the Bag O'Bones, which is five ShackBurger all-natural dog biscuits by Bocce's Bakery in New York, for $7.95.
