1 ID’d in apparent murder-suicide in southwest valley

One of two bodies found Thursday evening in a southwest Las Vegas Valley home in what police said the next day was a murder-suicide has been identified by the Clark County coroner’s office.

Homicide detectives believe that 26-year-old Won Jae Lee, from Las Vegas, was fatally shot in the neck and head by a woman whom he was in a relationship with, police said. The woman, who has not been identified by the coroner, turned the gun on herself.

Metro was called about 5 p.m. Thursday to a home’s garage in the 8900 block of Veneroso Street, near the intersection of South Fort Apache and West Pebble roads, Las Vegas police said. A person who found the bodies placed the call.

A fight inside the house ended in the garage where the shots were fired, police said.
