3 injured in southwest valley crash

Three people are hospitalized following a Friday afternoon rollover crash in the southwest valley.

Las Vegas police responded to the single-vehicle crash at 2:26 p.m. near South Cimarron Road and Lapis Springs Lane, near Desert Inn Road, said Las Vegas police spokesman Jose Hernandez.

The three people involved in the crash were taken to University Medical Center with injuries that did not appear to be life-threatening, Hernandez said.

Traffic in the area will likely be tied up for at least a couple of hours, Hernandez said.
