Aircraft shelter collapse injures eight at Nellis

Eight military employees were injured late Thursday afternoon when a set of aircraft shelters collapsed at Nellis Air Force Base.

According to base officials, the incident occurred about 5 p.m. during a windstorm. The injured military personnel sustained minor injuries. They were treated at O'Callaghan Federal Hospital.

The incident is under investigation, which includes evaluating the extent of the damage to the aircraft and other resources.
