Apartment fire still under investigation
Eight apartments on Spencer Street are uninhabitable after a fire broke out at the two-story complex, near Flamingo Road and Maryland Parkway, this afternoon. No injuries were reported, according to a spokesman for the county.
The Clark County Fire Department put out the blaze in about half an hour, after responding at 3:40 p.m.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation, county spokesman Dan Kulin said. Damages have not yet been assessed.
