Armed, suicidal man caused closure of I-15, Las Vegas Blvd.

Authorities briefly shut down northbound Interstate 15 and Las Vegas Boulevard in the south valley Friday afternoon while they arrested a man they said was armed and suicidal.
Metro was called at 1:11 p.m. about a man with a gun in a red Dodge pickup.
The Nevada Highway Patrol was notified about the man at 1:50 p.m., Trooper Loy Hixson said.
Las Vegas police shut down Las Vegas Boulevard near Sloan and NHP closed off I-15 north, between St. Rose Parkway and Sloan, Hixson said.
By 2:11 p.m., the man had been arrested and roads reopened within five minutes, Hixson said.
