Child struck by vehicle in northwest Las Vegas

Las Vegas police responded Tuesday morning to an auto-pedestrian accident near a Las Vegas middle school.
According to Metro spokesman Jesse Roybal, a juvenile was hit by a vehicle just before 9:30 a.m. near Leavitt Middle School, West Lone Mountain Road and North Buffalo Drive.
The condition of the pedestrian was unknown at 9:30 a.m.
