Clark County fire stations will begin collecting gifts for a holiday toy drive Friday.
The 13th annual “Fill the Fire Truck” event, put on by Clark County Fire Department and Southern Nevada Firefighter Burn Foundation, will run through Dec. 22.
“The toys will be distributed to more than 40 local organizations, including the Boys and Girls Club, Salvation Army, and schools and churches,” according to a release.
Residents can donate new, unwrapped toys or gift cards at any Clark County fire station between 9 a.m. and 5 a.m. seven days a week.
Last year, the drive collected more than 19,000 toys for local children, the release said.
