Coroner identifies man shot, killed in North Las Vegas
The man who died after being shot inside a North Las Vegas business Friday morning has been identified by the Clark County coroner’s office.
John Vito Ventura, 47, of Las Vegas, died after a fight with an employee at a business in the 500 block of West Cheyenne, police said.
Ventura entered the business about 9 a.m., and after starting a fight with an employee, a second employee pulled out a gun and shot him multiple times, police said. Ventura was taken to University Medical Center, where he died.
