FLEMING'S PRIME STEAKHOUSE & WINE BAR DEBUTS BAR LA CARTE MENU

Fleming's Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar, 8721 W. Charleston Blvd., has debuted a new Bar la Carte menu that is served only in the bar.

The menu offers six new dishes available any time, any evening, and which are more substantial than appetizers or typical bar bites.

The menu offers salt and pepper shrimp with crispy fried green beans and caper-mustard dipping sauce; Prime Steakhouse meatballs in spicy peppercorn sauce with shiitake mushrooms; Fleming's Original prime rib melt with Swiss, mushrooms, whole-grain mustard, horseradish slaw and au jus for dipping; filet mignon flatbread topped with Danish Blue and Monterey Jack cheese and red onion confit; cedar-roasted mushroom and artichoke flatbread; and the Prime Burger with Wisconsin cheddar, peppered bacon and Fleming's signature onion rings.

KABUKI TO HOST WINE AWAY WEDNESDAYS

Kabuki Japanese Restaurant at Tivoli Village, 400 S. Rampart Blvd., No. 190, plans to host Wine Away Wednesdays from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in conjunction with Las Vegas Woman magazine. The monthly mixer will feature wine tasting, two complimentary glasses of wine, light passed appetizers and offerings from local businesses. CARRABBA'S ITALIAN GRILL PLANS JUNE 26 WINE DINNER

Carrabba's Italian Grill, 8771 W. Charleston Blvd., plans to host the Great Italian Wine Dinner featuring the Antinori Family wines from Florence, Italy, at 6:30 p.m. June 26. The menu is set to feature calamari with spicy marinara sauce, paired with Santa Cristina Bianco Antori; homemade minestrone, paired with Bramito del Cervo Chardonnay 2010; tagliarini pasta with mushrooms, artichoke hearts and spinach in tomato basil sauce topped with bread crumbs and chicken, paired with Santa Cristina Annata 2010 and Antinori Chianti Classico Peppoli 2009; top sirloin with zucchini stefano, garlic mashed potatoes and a side of Marsala sauce, paired with Tormaresca Neprica 2010 Puglia IGT; and Limoncello bread pudding with Blue Bell vanilla ice cream, paired with Italian coffee.

SMASHBURGER OPENS IN FIESTA RANCHO

A Smashburger was scheduled to open June 14 in the food court at the Fiesta Rancho, 2400 N. Rancho Drive.

The restaurant also will provide service to the bingo hall and sports book, as well as takeout orders for hotel guests. Customers can redeem their Boarding Pass points for Smashburger menu items.

Hours are from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 9 a.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday. A limited breakfast menu will be featured.

MIDWEEK MUNCH TO HOST FOOD TRUCKS WEDNESDAYS

The Jackie Gaughan Parkway at the El Cortez, 600 E. Fremont St., plans to host food trucks for Midweek Munch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesdays.

CASA FUENTE TO HOST CRAFT BEER FESTIVAL AT THE FORUM SHOPS AT CAESARS

Casa Fuente at The Forum Shops at Caesars, 3570 Las Vegas Blvd. South, plans to host its first Craft Beer Festival from noon to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

The festival will take place at the cigar bar and lounge. Guests can sample beers from around the world, including Ballast Point Big Eye IPA from San Diego, MOA Pale Ale from New Zealand, Leffe Blonde Pale Ale from Belgium and Innis & Gunn Oak Aged Beer from Scotland.

The event is free to attend, with tickets redeemable for beers available in four-packs for $20 each.

Each week during June, Casa Fuente also plans to feature small batch and craft beers.

LES KINCAID'S FOOD AND WINE CLASSES ARE UNDER WAY

Les Kincaid, host of the syndicated radio program "Wines Du Jour," is hosting food and wine classes through June.

NEXT PROJECT DINNER TABLE EVENT SET FOR JUNE 30

The next Project Dinner Table event is planned for 6 p.m. June 30 at the University of Nevada Cooperative Extension Orchard, 4600 Horse Drive at Decatur Boulevard in North Las Vegas.

The dinner will be served family-style and will feature cuisine by chef Geno Bernardo of Nove Italiano at the Palms, 4321 W. Flamingo Road.

EL SEGUNDO SOL PLANS COOKING CLASS JUNE 30

El Segundo Sol at Fashion Show mall, 3200 Las Vegas Blvd. South, plans to host a cooking class with chef Terry Lunch from 10 a.m. to noon June 30.

The menu is set to feature watermelon-tomato salad with guajillo dressing, tacos with housemade chorizo and roasted poblano, and bunellos with blackberry and mango. Cocktails are set to include paloma with fresh grapefruit and mint, and a fresh farmers market strawberry margarita.

20 FOR $20 BEER BBQ PARTY PLANNED AT STRIPBURGER

Stripburger at Fashion Show mall, 3200 Las Vegas Blvd. South, plans to host the 20 for $20 Beer BBQ Party July 3.

Guests can enjoy sampling 20 varieties of beer and ranking their favorites while feasting on American barbecue favorites and sides such as french fries, coleslaw, baked beans and cookies for dessert. A disc jockey will provide entertainment.

The Parlour at the El Cortez, 600 E. Fremont St., has announced a new late-night dining menu that will be available from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. nightly.

The menu includes $9 pulled pork slider or barbecue chicken slider, $9 Parlour melt with hamburger patty and Swiss cheese, $11 grilled shrimp, $7 artichoke spinach dip, $8 fish tacos, $8 lollipop wings and $6 steak fries.

New seasonal cocktails are the Acai Caipirinha with Grey Goose Cherry Noir vodka, fresh limes and Cedilla acai liqueur; Hibiscus Margarita with Patron Silver, hibiscus syrup, organic agave nectar, fresh lemon juice and fresh lime juice; and South Side, Plymouth gin, fresh mint leaves, Elixir lavender syrup, fresh lime juice and a splash of club soda.

FLAME STEAKHOUSE PLANS FISH DINNER SPECIALS IN JUNE

CAFÉ CORTEZ PLANS DINNER SPECIALS

Café Cortez at the El Cortez, 600 E. Fremont St., plans to serve a prime rib dinner for $7.95 that includes choice of soup or salad.

A fajita dinner is $8.95, and a full Chinese menu is available from 4 to 10 p.m.

Graveyard specials are served from 10:30 p.m. to 7 a.m. Sunday through Thursday and include two eggs, choice of bacon or sausage, breakfast potatoes and toast for $4.75, plus tax, and ham and two eggs, breakfast potatoes and toast for $7.25, plus tax.
