LEARN THE BASICS OF FARMING
DURING MONDAY WORKSHOP
The University of Nevada Cooperative Extension plans to host a So You Want to Be a Produce Farmer? workshop Monday and June 26 at the Lifelong Learning Center, 8050 Paradise Road.
Registration for both days is $50 per ranch up to three people, $30 for one day per group of three and $60 on the day of the event. Lunch and refreshments are included in the registration fee.

DISCOVER WAYS TO ATTRACT WILDLIFE
AT SUNDAY SPRINGS PRESERVE EVENT
A workshop on attracting wildlife is planned from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Springs Preserve, 333 S. Valley View Blvd.

MONDAY GOLF TOURNAMENT TO BENEFIT
HELP OF SOUTHERN NEVADA
HELP of Southern Nevada plans to host its 18th annual Golfers' Roundup tournament 7 a.m. Monday at the Las Vegas Country Club, 3000 Joe W. Brown Drive. Tickets are $300 for individuals or $1,200 for a group of four people, with a continental breakfast and luncheon included.

NEW BUSINESS DONATES PORTION
OF EARLY PROFITS TO JUNIOR LEAGUE
The Container Store, 6521 Las Vegas Blvd. South in Town Square Las Vegas, donated $16,500 of its first-week profits to the Junior League of Las Vegas.
The store, which opened May 12, is the 55th location in the United States and the first in Nevada.
