Las Vegas firefighters rescued a small dog from a house fire on Thursday afternoon that caused $150,000 in damages.
No one was home at the time of the fire at 7930 Twin Leaf St. near Grand Teton Drive and U.S. Highway 95, and there were no injuries reported.
The fire started in the master bedroom of the two-story, wood-framed stucco home, according to Las Vegas Fire Department spokesman Tim Szymanski.
Firefighters responded shortly after 3:30 p.m. and it took them 10 minutes to put out the heavy fire.
The fire may have been started because of electrical issues.
American Red Cross have relocated two adults and two small children.
