Las Vegas Boulevard near Russell reopens after truck crash

A portion of Las Vegas Boulevard South was blocked off Thursday morning after a semitrailer flipped over near Russell Road.
The crash was called in just before 7:30 a.m., according to the Metropolitan Police Department’s traffic site. The semitrailer was on its side and blocking southbound lanes.
The Regional Transportation Commission reported at 12:30 p.m. that all but the left southbound lanes have reopened.
