Las Vegas firefighters extinguish RV fire near downtown

A recreational vehicle fire near downtown Las Vegas caused a heavy smoke plume that could be seen from the Spaghetti Bowl on Thursday morning.

No one was injured and no other structures were damaged, according to the Las Vegas Fire Department.

Firefighters were called about 7:30 a.m. to the “fully-engulfed” RV, which was parked between two houses, near the intersection of Washington Avenue and F Street, the Fire Department said.

No one was inside the vehicle and the fire was quickly put out, the Fire Department said.
