Man dies of injuries after Thursday crash

A man died Friday morning after being injured in a car crash Thursday night near Tropicana Avenue and Duneville Street.

A Toyota 4Runner was traveling east on Tropicana when it was hit by a Dodge pickup traveling west on Tropicana after the driver of the Dodge truck lost control and crossed the median, according to Las Vegas police.

The roadways were wet from the rain, and the driver of the Dodge and three people in the Toyota were transported to University Medical Center, police said.

A 53-year-old male passenger who was in the Toyota died from his injuries Friday morning. His name has not yet been released by the Clark County coroner’s office.
