Man struck, killed on I-15 near Moapa

A 45-year-old man died early Wednesday after while walking on Interstate 15 near Moapa, according to Nevada Highway Patrol.

NHP said the man was struck shortly after 1 a.m. by a northbound red Nissan truck while he was crossing the freeway. NHP believes the vehicle he was in had broken down.

The Clark County coroner’s office will release the identity of the man once next of kin is notified.
