Motorcyclist killed in Monday crash identified
The motorcyclist who died in a Monday afternoon crash was identified Tuesday by the Clark County coroner’s office.
John Thomas Strunk, 25, of Las Vegas, was pronounced dead at the scene after his motorcycle collided with an SUV at the intersection of Russell Road and Lamb Boulevard.
Police believe Strunk was speeding toward the intersection on a 2014 Yamaha motorcycle when he crashed into a 2013 Chevrolet Equinox turning left in front of him.
The 73-year-old man driving the Equinox was taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center with minor injuries.
