Motorcyclist killed in Saturday accident identified

The man killed after he lost control of his motorcycle near Bonanza Road and Seventh Street late Saturday night has been identified by the Clark County coroner's office as 41-year-old Chad Henry Anderson.

According to police, Anderson was traveling east on Bonanza Road where he drove off the roadway at the Seventh Street intersection and into a vacant lot where he struck the wires anchoring a power pole.

Anderson was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel.

The accident was the 12th traffic-related fatality in Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department's jurisdiction in 2013.
