One killed, two hurt in North Las Vegas crash
One person was dead and two others were hospitalized after an early Saturday morning car crash in North Las Vegas, police said.
A Ford Mustang traveling west on Craig Road struck a Ford Explorer that had a green light and was traveling south on Simmons Street about 4:13 a.m., police said.
The driver of the Ford Explorer was pronounced dead at the scene. Police did not release that person’s age or gender. The driver’s identity and cause of death will be released by the Clark County coroner’s office.
The driver of the Ford Mustang, a 17-year-old man, and the passenger, a 19-year-old man, were taken to University Medical Center with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.
This is the second fatal crash of the year in North Las Vegas.
