An 82-year-old man died Saturday night, shortly after he was hit by a vehicle in the northwest valley.
The pedestrian-auto crash happened just before 5 p.m. at Rainbow Boulevard when the man walked in the roadway in front of a pickup north of Smoke Ranch Road, Las Vegas police said.
The driver of the vehicle that hit the man remained on scene, police said.
