The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, with the partnership of the nonprofit organization Friends for Las Vegas Police K-9, hosted the 25th LVMPD Police K-9 Trials at the Orleans Arena on Sunday.
More than 40 police K-9 teams from the United States and Mexico competed in categories that included agility, narcotics, explosives and area search, among others. The event was free and open to the public.
