KINGMAN, Ariz. — A 70-year-old man was killed in a two-vehicle collision in the northwest Arizona community of Golden Valley on Wednesday.
The state Department of Public Safety identified him as Ronald H. Frisby, of Golden Valley.
Fire Chief Thomas O’Donohue said Golden Valley Fire District personnel responded about 4 p.m. to the accident scene where a semi-truck collided with a small sedan at the intersection of Arizona Route 68 and Mobile Road.
“Bystanders reported that the car (driven by Frisby) pulled in front of the westbound semi, getting struck almost immediately upon entering Highway 68,” O’Donohue said. “The contents of the semi-truck was non-potable water, so no hazard from leakage existed.”
The accident remained under investigation.
