RENO — Authorities say no one was hurt in a helicopter crash that briefly shut down the Carson City airport.

Firefighters tell KTVN-TV the craft tipped over Wednesday evening as a pilot and passenger were practicing touchdowns.

The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board are investigating the crash, which closed the airport for a few hours.

The Henderson Police Department said this week it has begun a campaign targeting illegal electric motorcycle use ahead of the holiday season. Meanwhile, Clark County created a public service announcement with a pediatric doctor at UMC.
