A Pahrump woman died over the weekend after in a head-on collision driving the wrong way on State Route 160, Nevada Highway Patrol said Monday.
Julia Shoup, 58, was headed north on the highway near Nevada Boulevard in Pahrump about 9:45 p.m. Wednesday when the silver Toyota Tacoma she was driving crossed the center line and entered the southbound lanes.
The Toyota struck a silver Saturn sedan head on, sending the sedan spinning into another lane where it hit another car.
Shoup was airlifted to University Medical Center, where she died Saturday night, NHP said.
Shoup was not wearing a seat belt.
