Small plane makes hard landing at Jean airport
A small plane made a hard landing at Jean Airport Friday morning, the Clark County Fire Department said.
First responders were called to the airport’s runway at about 11 a.m., said Christine Crews, McCarran International Airport spokesperson.
The privately-owned Beechcraft plane’s landing gear did not come down, Crews said. The pilot was the only occupant.
There were no flames, and the pilot was not hurt, Crews said.
Jean’s airport is about 30 miles south of Las Vegas.
