Take the new way home: Stretch of Sunset Road opens Friday
Clark County will be opening a new stretch of road Friday afternoon before rush hour traffic hit the streets.
Sunset Road, between Valley View and Decatur boulevards, will open up at 3 p.m.
The $13.3 million project included a bridge for Sunset Road to pass under the railroad tracks, an underground storm drain, a larger sewer system and road improvements that include three lanes of traffic in both directions and a center turn lane.
