According to the National Weather Service service, Harry Reid International Airport reached 34 degrees early Saturday morning but multiple sites across the valley reported teperatures below freezing.
The valley, which saw northwest winds 20 to 30 mph, was under a wind advisory for much of the day.
Las Vegas finished 2025 with more than 5 inches of rain, boosted by the Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve storms.
December 2025 was the warmest December on record, the National Weather Service said. But the month also saw some rain.
The temperature peaked at 112 degrees at 2 p.m. Monday at Harry Reid International Airport, two degrees hotter than Sunday.
Excessive heat over the region is expected to increase a few degrees Sunday and Monday. Cooling stations remain open.
An excessive heat warning begins Saturday and runs through late Monday for the Las Vegas region.
The mercury at the airport last reached 100 degrees at 105 on Sept. 8, 2022.

The July-September outlook calls for “warmer than normal temps” and “the potential for normal-to-below normal precipitation,” said the National Weather Service.
Harry Reid International Airport hit 97 degrees Monday, which means Las Vegas has failed to reach 100 degrees for 291 straight days.
Las Vegas may set a record for consecutive days below 100 next week, says the weather service.
