4-year-old who drowned in pool a boy from Magna, Utah
A 4-year-old boy who drowned Friday afternoon in a backyard pool in the northwest valley was identified as Porter Liddell from Magna, Utah.
The Clark County coroner's office ruled that the death was accidental.
Las Vegas Fire Department spokesman Tim Szymanski said first responders were called at 4:45 p.m. to a home on the 5400 block of Irish Springs Street, near Ann Road and Durango Drive.
Szymanski said CPR was performed on the child who was unconscious. He was transported to Centennial Hills Hospital Medical Center where he died.
