FAA spokesman Ian Gregor said strict restrictions will be in place from 5:25 p.m. Tuesday until at least 1 p.m. Wednesday.

Only commercial airlines, law enforcement aircraft and medical helicopters will be allowed within a 10-mile radius of McCarran International Airport.

The FAA said private pilots won’t be able to fly into or out of North Las Vegas Airport.

Henderson Executive Airport will only allow aircraft with arrival and departure routes assigned by air traffic control.

Private pilots flying within 30 miles of McCarran must have transponders and flight plans and be in communication with air traffic controllers, the agency said.
