Body found in Lake Mohave; officials search for another swimmer

Officials recovered the body of a swimmer and were searching for a second person Tuesday night at Lake Mohave.

National Park Service spokesman Andrew Muñoz said someone called 911 about 8:45 p.m. after finding a body floating in Six Mile Cove.

Officials determined the swimmer was a man. His name was not released.

Muñoz said additional items found at the scene indicated that the swimmer was with another person.

Officials were still searching for that person late Tuesday.

The two people were swimming from the shore, he said.
