Car crashes into tour bus on I-15 near Moapa

Nevada Highway Patrol said nine people were hurt when a tour bus on Interstate 15 near Moapa attempted an illegal U-turn and was rear-ended by a vehicle.

Police said eight people on the bus had minor injuries. The woman driver of the car was airlifted to University Medical Center in serious condition.

The bus was carrying 41 passengers, many of who were Chinese tourists, police said.

Police said the bus was traveling to the Grand Canyon. When the driver realized he was traveling the wrong way, he attempted the U-turn on the highway.
